Accidentally bought double the amount of tickets I needed for a concert directly from the venues official website. Sold tickets on Viagogo & they refuse to give me the money as the buyer apparently claims they couldn’t gain entry. I don’t know who the buyer is, so whether that’s true or Viagogo have just kept the money, who knows. They also took an extra £40 from my account apparently as an inconvenience fee for the buyer. They claim they conducted a thorough investigation (told me this at 5pm on the day of the concert so can’t have been that thorough) but say due to security & GDPR they can’t so much as tell me the process of that investigation, ie. how they reached that decision.
Customer service follow-up was terrible.... can’t be contacted by phone, so had to resort to messaging through their website, whereby I received the same generic response to each of my messages.
What else am I supposed to do here?! £250 down & furious!
Not only the worst service I’ve received, but genuinely believe these people are criminals & don’t know how they can get away with it.
