A little cheaper than the GE brand and works just as well. The real advantage? IT DOES NIT SHUT DOWN YOUR WATER/ICE DISPENSER WHEN SIX MONTHS ARE UP!!! In other words it is not hold your system hostage like the GE filter does. That alone is reason enough to buy this
