I am very pleased with this filter. The water supply is quite hard and I have a conditioner on the water entering the house. However, when I wash my car with water from the outside hose connection that is not conditioned, it leaves white calcium streaks on the car. I use the filter only when washing the car by connecting it to the hose faucet and removing it afterwards. The result is a perfectly clean car with no streaks. I purchased two filters, and I'm interested to see how long a filter will perform using it this way.
