Seems to work well. It has two major advantages, possibly three over the standard UV lamp type;
1) Using UV LEDs, it will last 50.000 to 100,000 hours, much longer than traditional UV lamps.
2) It is activated by an electronic flow sensor to increase life expectancy dramatically.
3) Is not prone to leaking like many other brands.
