I've been using my Waterdrop pitcher for a couple of years now. A longtime Brita pitcher user who often forgot to change the filter every month, I decided to give the Waterdrop system a try partly because of the long-lasting filters (up to 3 months). The pitcher itself is agreeable to hold with its wooden handle, and as far as taste goes, I'm very happy. I've just changed a filter after having used it for 3 months even though I couldn't detect any little flavor seeping into the water (unlike the Brita Maxtra system after one month or so).
Of course, water taste and actual filtering capacities are not the same thing, but not having a chemistry lab in my kitchen, I'll just have to hope they equate to some extent!
