The box seemed flimsy- we are going to use it 'indoors'. The inspection hatch wouldn't open fully and broke when we tried to open it. There is no protective rim on the exercise platform. Fortunately our skilled volunteers was able to repair the hatch and fit a safer trim to the exercise platform.
We have subsequently purchased an ECO box from the Barn owl centre for external use, a much more robust box.
