My old Volvo was hit by a van and demmed uneconomical to repair. Zurich insurance quickly made a reasonable offer for the residual value of the car (which was above what Ithink it would fetch if sold before the accident), sent a recovery vehicle to tow it away the next day and followed up with the paperwork without much hassle on my part.
