It was very tough to do the ordering. I spoke to the intern who mentioned that she has to speak to the senior colleague who only come in at 3pm. As the Tampines store is next to NTUC and I would prefer to have the fruits purchased and packed. I went to the store as I was living nearby and the intern cannot decide. Having to talk to snr colleague, who couldn't make the decision. What a hassle when I asked to speak to her named Lulu. In fact my impression of the store is - one must adaptable and flexible and to have the business with cash flow is more impt, however I observed from Lulu is - not having the business is OK. In the end she approves the intern to take up the order but the charge is exorbitant for wrapping up service. I actually was not happy over it; but have to order for the floral fruit basket to be delivered for Get Well colleague. It's just incredible that during this pandemic crisis, business is bad, you guys are making purchase so difficult and raise the price like what you called "broad daylight" savings. I could have gone to NoelGifts, my usual supplier for office orders.
