WARNING!!! My partner and I were sitting watching TV when our Yankee candle (in a glass jar that it came in) blew up in front of our eyes! Fortunately we were in the room and acted fast to put the fire out with the only damage being a lasting burn mark on my TV stand. It was completely spontaneous! I urge everyone to be vigilant with these candles. I dread to think what might have happened if we weren't in the room at the time (yes, I know you shouldn't leave candles burning alone, but who blows them out when you leave the room to make a cup of tea or use the toilet)? Or worse. Fall asleep... THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
