I am writing this as we approach day 4 of Yodel's "next day delivery" service. I have had 5 webchat conversations with the supposed customer service, even once eventually getting through to a manager and yet STILL nothing has been done. Currently my parcel says it has been "loaded for delivery" since 10am this morning. The store I bought this from have been brilliant and tried their best to get things moving. On day 1 the delivery driver claimed to be unable to find a 3 story victorian townhouse on a main road. Yesterday there was no drivers to take the parcel. Today, it just seems no one has bothered. I could have gone for the free 3 day delivery option with another courier and I wouldn't have had to explain to a little girl on her birthday why her main present wasn't there and she couldn't wear her new shoes to her party with her friends. If you can't fulfil a service you purport to offer and receive payment for, not only are you falsely advertising but you are breaching a service contract. No doubt tomorrow i will AGAIN have a conversation with your useless customer service staff to be told you are going "as quickly as possible". UNFORTUNATLY THAT ISN'T THE SERVICE I PAID FOR. Sort yourselves out.
