“The following is what happened to me about a year ago: *** Courier stated they had attempted delivery but couldn't find the address. Strange, as it's a clearly marked town centre business, with a loading/delivery layby outside. *** A year on and.......The same thing has just happened again. Same delivery address, same problem BUT I did get to speak to a human being on the 'phone this time, who said they'd get the package retained at the Ipswich depot for collection & I'd be notified when it was ready. Guess what? No such notification. Rang customer service again a day later, only to be told no such request had been made or actioned, but the package was at Ipswich - who couldn't deliver it because more information was required to locate the address! I went to the Ipswich depot (60 mile round trip) where I spoke to a very helpful member of staff. He confirmed from looking at Google street view the location was clearly identifiable, as was the delivery bay. He was very apologetic, but it isn't just the incompetent and/or lazy courier, but also their customer service, (based in Africa, I believe). So my experiences with Yodel, a year apart, are 100% frustration and disappointment. Not fit for purpose. Cost me a lot of time, money and running around. I refuse to use them, but can't stop my suppliers from doing so.”

“Yodel has now introduced the InPost delivery in our area. My order from Suttons Gardening was delayed and eventually I got the message that it was delivered to the assigned InPost locker. I went to get it but it was not delivered there. The message was that it was in another InPost location. Eventually I got through to InPost customer care and was told that it had been delivered to Reading! As the product was a living plant which in the current heatwave must have wilted, I had no choice but to cancel the order. I have requested Suttons Customer Support not to use Yodel InPost for any of their live produce deliveries.”

“So called delivery. I was outside all afternoon when the delivery was supposedly made. The photo showed red bricks - which I do not have. The photo showed an outhouse - which I do not have & it showed a gate - which I do not have. As to your so called investigation - b******s you’re as good as calling me a liar. I will not have any more dealings with your company. Thankyou & goodbye !!!”

“I just received my item I was at home waiting for it and nobody ring the bell just left it outside next to the bin not even behind the bin where nobody can see it very poor service delivery cow boys do your job properly or go and something else bloody useless!!!!”

“Ordered plants from qvc . Informed on 23rd June 2026 that they were dispatched. At least 6 messages from yodel stating the would be delivered. then they would be delayed. We are now on 28th and numerous call to yodel with no help at all. What a shambles of a firm they are .....totally useless !!!!!.”

“Disgusting delivery people. They run ober your garden, jump over your fence, ruin your plants then throw your parcel at the door and then they confirm" left in safe place" Total disregard of your property and your valuables. Wish nobody uses them for deliveries!”

“Bought 2 items on ebay. Seller's listing claimed postage with Evri. However seller used Yodel. Have had numerous previous problems with Yodel. Delivery driver claimed to be unable to find my address despite previous deliveries (live in numbered house on a main road.) Requested to use webchat which gave experience same as banging my head against a brick wall. Eventually corresponded with 4 staff who each told different stories and told different lies.”

“If i pay for next day delivery it should be delivered next day. Two days later and yodel are still saying irs being deluvered today. My parcel was for a wedding today and still not here. I think the problem is the drivers just cant be bothered. When its time for them to click off they dont care. Absolutely useless company and now im out of pocket”

“very irresponsible courier in Portsmouth I live on the second floor, and the package was very expensive. Someone rang the intercom and said - parcel. I waited and waited, but no one was there. I went downstairs to the building, and the package was lying on the stairs at the bottom. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! DO NOT LEAVE PARCELS UNATTENDED! YOU HAVE THE ADDRESS - GET TO THE DOOR AND LEAVE THE PACKAGE AT THE ADDRESS PROVIDED. THE COURIER ARRIVED AT PO1 4DA AT ABOUT 1:31 PM”

“Absolutely shocking not only did i not receive my parcel it appears to have been stolen by the courier! . I would suggest if you are online shopping and they use this company shop somewhere else if they can not off an alternative delivery service. If you live in the Blackpool area and Yodal is set to deliver becareful because at least one of the drivers are a theif . It shouldn't even have 1 star its ashame there isnt -1”

“It is hard to give this even 1 star, because the delivery is aimed at you missing it. It offers services which ONLY allow delivery to your hand. You cannot pick it up anywhere even if it is quite cheap things that fit through letter box. 3 misses and you drive across the country to collect it, if the parcel has not been stolen or vanished.”

“As per usual yodel driver didn't turn up and then said they missed me - an utter lie - i was tracking on line and was "next" for about 2hrs but the driver never got any closer. I am gettingto the stage whn if I know the company I am buying from use Yodel then they are not getting my custom”
