I have had 3 separate incidents with this company within the space of a month.
The first I had a male delivery driver come to home and ask me to open the back gate so he could bring the items in that way. My back gate does not open and regardless if it did I do not want items delivered to the back of my house meaning I would have to drag them through the entirety of my home. Due to this I declined and explained it did not open to which he huffed at me and walked off. He then came back with 3 large parcels and left them out in the rain at the furthest point away from my door in my front garden and started to walk off.. when I noticed this I called after him and asked him to bring the items to the door to which he told me "they've been delivered to your house" and walked off. To note I am 6 months pregnant and was home alone so had no choice but to attempt to carry these large heavy items in before they got ruined by the rain or stolen.
I contacted customer services who told me they would deal with it.
A few days later we had another large delivery- a bed, on this occasion it wasn't even delivered to my home. I received an email stating the parcel had been delivered, there had been no knock or ring on my doorbell so looked outside - again it was raining - and it had been left outside my neighbours property to get ruined or stolen. Again contacted customer services and was fobbed off with a sorry and it would be passed on
As this was the 2nd issue within a week this was not sufficient so I contacted the ceo complaints. They confirmed this was the same driver on both occasions so was clearly doing this out of spite and was assured he would be dealt with robustly and this would not happen again.
Suprise.... it did. Yet again, no knock, no call, no ring on the doorbell. Massive parcel left at the bottom of my garden... in the rain. Clearly its the same driver and clearly nothing has been done about this even though they are aware of my pregnancy and current issues with carrying large parcels in currently
The complete lack of care, empathy and customer service is appalling and I would urge you to never use this company if you have a choice. Unfortunately on all 3 occasions it has been the retailer who has sent the items through yodel and not my choice but if it was up to me I would never use them. If they were half the price of other companies I would still not use them.
