Yodel has by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I ordered something recently and missed the first delivery — fair enough. But they never left a note. Then, they claimed they attempted a second delivery, which is simply untrue — I was home the entire day and no one ever came. I redirected the order to be delivered to our local store, and for days, the tracking just said “on its way.” Then out of nowhere, I received a message saying I failed to pick it up and it’s being returned to the sender. I never even got the chance to collect it!
This whole mess was created by them. I wasn’t made aware of any updates, and trying to get support was a nightmare. The automated phone line didn’t recognise my tracking number, and there was no option to speak to an actual person — it just hung up on me. I tried the online chat, and while they kept apologising and saying my parcel was “on its way,” it never showed up. They promised someone would contact me — no one ever did.
I get that people deal with worse issues, but I just had to share how frustrating this was. It’s truly horrible service. I honestly wish I could avoid ever receiving anything through Yodel again, but I’m not even sure if that’s something I can request.
And it’s not just me. My husband ordered a pair of shoes once, and the package never came. He actually went to their office in the nearby town, only to be told the parcel had just “disappeared.”
I genuinely don’t understand how this company is still operating
