You never really know how good an insurance company is until you make a claim. The introductory rate seems good but I make it a point to stipulate, right from the start, ‘do not auto renew’. Most companies try to squeeze a further 20% or so out of you for repeat policies, even though nothing else has changed. In my view this is a scam and if there have been no claims then the premium should reduce not increase. When I tried to have my policy record annotated ‘do not auto-renew’ it seems that I will need to wait until 28 days before it expires to do this. I can only assume that Yoga hopes that I will be too inattentive to remember this needs to be done and they will auto-renew + 20%!? That is the reason that I have given only 3 stars. John Hair.
