We booked our holiday through Your Golf Travel and stayed at Les Cottages De La Bretesche France. It was a great choice and we would certainly return. The setting was amazing with the Chateau in the grounds and the course was beautifully kept and great to play. No real water hazards or ditches but plenty of tree lined traps and strategically placed bunkers to make it interesting. The accommodation, a cottage in the grounds, was comfortable and clean and spruced up midweek with fresh bedding and towels. There were two restaurants, the brasserie ideal for casual eating and the main restaurant a real gourmet experience with one well deserved Michelin star it offered a range of extremely tasty and well presented courses with wines to suit. The only thing I would say is if you want to eat Friday, Saturday or Sunday night book early as it gets booked up. The ferries were booked for us by yourselves and that worked extremely well not only in original planning but when we hit a problem meeting our return ferry timing it was a simple matter to get booked on a later one with a phone call to Your Golf Travel.
