We had a lovely two days at Calderfields Golf club.The trip had been flawlessly arranged by Jack at Your Golf Travel, our prefered T times had been booked and we were able to go out on time, the course was not over busy so there were no long waits on the course. The course was lovely, quite flat but with some water, lots of challenging bunker placements and tree lined fairways that punished wayward tee shots. I think this helped the two ladies in our party to beat the two men on the first day, for mixed golf the ladies tees were placed well forward of the mens allowing us to match their tee shots and as ladies are always less wayward than the men!! we were able to avoid the trees. The clubhouse was very nice with a lovely terrace overlooking the course. The staff and members at Calderfields were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were reasonably priced although the bar closed at 8.00clock on Sunday however there was a pub at the entrance to the golf club so all was not lost!! The chalets were clean and well appointed situated close to the clubhouse, golf course and carpark. I would be happy to recommend this club to anyone and because of the excellent organisation and unbeatable value would recommend that it is booked through Your Golf Travel One happy customer!
