I use saffron often enough that I don't buy it at Krogers. I buy it off the Internet in larger quantities.
My concern with on-line sellers is knowing if the "saffron" is real. Or if it is something else that has been doctored with dye.
I came to Zaran because I felt I was likely to get real saffron. My cursory check when I received the product indicated it is real saffron they sell. While I will continue to perform my checks on each new can, I've been happy with the taste and quality of what I've purchased.
