I began by searching the Internet for plastic bookends, but all the ones I could find cost more than I wanted to pay. Easier to find and less expensive were metal bookends, but I was worried that they would scratch and scar my bookshelves. Zerbee provided me with the perfect solution: metal bookends with a coating on the bottom that prevents scratching. Plus they were on sale and cost lesls than any others I had seen anywhere. The best of both worlds.
