I like the ability save/email lists of items for trade, and I like the overall service the company provides. I wasn't too thrilled with the way my most recent batch was handled. The books I sent were in good condition, some in pristine/brand-new condition, but were rejected for having missing covers. The notification stated the books would be "disposed of." It was really wasteful to dispose books in great condition, and I would have preferred to go through another service that would have actually made use of them.
Because the books were in great condition, yet Zifft was reporting them to be in unreadable condition, I wondered if maybe somehow they were severely damaged in transit. If this was the case, I wanted to know so I could take measures to avoid this in the future. I was told the issue would be investigated but no one ever got back to me.
