I can only add to the poor reviews here. Zoopla valuations used to be reasonably accurate and a good guide for buyers and sellers. Not since Hometrack was introduced! I have just had a series of emails with Zoopla explaining that mine is one of four identical houses in a small cul-de-sac. We all bought our houses from new and none of us have carried out significant changes to property characteristics (eg extensions). The valuations used to be similar. Zoopla are unable to explain how all four now have estimated valuations which are very different. My next door neighbour's house (identical to mine, purchased at the same time) is valued at £57,000 more than mine! Zoopla cannot explain this. All emails with the support team just spew out the same rubbish about their AVM using 'data points' etc and how valuations cannot be manually changed. Basically - "Computer says No!". I have lost all faith in Zoopla. They need to ditch this AVM as it is not fit for purpose and is seriously impacting home owners trying to sell their property.
