“It sent me around in circles with e.mails to reset my password repeatedly and i couldnt get in. Very anoying as i had just spent £30 trying 5o find a dodjy car dealers d.o.b.”
“The male telephone consultant at 192.com is the most miserable, negative and downbeat sales chap I've ver spoken with. 192.com need to change him - he projects a bad image of 192.com as all he gave was bad, negative news. I was going to buy 100 Credits until I spoke with him.”
“As an affiliate of 192 they are constantly late in paying through tradedoubler. If you are looking to make money through 192 or tradedoubler choose someone else. Shocking.”
“DO not bother Using this website. Addresses are only available pre 2002
Complete con. I’m not leaving my name, don’t want anyone to know I have been so stupid for paying for 30 entries.”
“Meant to have cost 15.99 but cost 19.99 , didn't tell me much I didn't know anyway. Then tried to sign in by using voice mail used another credit by trying to locate someone with the name sign, then tried the same way to login and used another credit by trying to locate someone with the name login”
“Business not running from advertised address. This is bad practise as he is a doctor . How do people know who he says he is. New people living at 20 thorn walk”
“Paid over £50 for 100 credits. Used it once to track a rogue builder. Came back 7 months later to find my credits had vanished. Apparently they only last 6 months. Why? Did they have a "best before date" and then "go off"!? Blatent profiteering. Avoid.”
“Total rip off! Charge nearly £20 for you to search their database 5 times. You then find out that your 5 searches must be used within 1 month. Also the search results are appalling because they often only give you the first letter of the forename. For example, if you're looking for John Smith, they will return with J. Smith so you think that must be the person you're looking for and click the info button only to find out it is Jason Smith of no relation. Despite it being the wrong person and information, it counts as one of your searches.”
“£17.99 to only give me an address that they lived in 2 years ago it told me more about the neighbours and what the house is worth and that's it can't tell me how old the person is the car they got on finance if married. I feel I've had my trousers pulled down and violated”
“This used to be such a good site, but it has changed. It wouldn't let me log in, and all the FAQs link back to the login page, so you go nowhere. The little sum that they use to verify that you are a human always says your answer is incorrect. Even the layout looks dodgy. Very disappointing.”
“Utterly useless I had a fair amount of information about the people I was searching for and had purchased credits, but was unable to find 2 of them by any means at all and the third only after a long struggle. I will never waste money using this site again. Something has gone wrong. It used to be really reliable, if expensive.”
