Returns - Difficult

Blacks take no responsibility for returns and despite the fact that I have received email confirmation from Blacks that my return was received by the company and after waiting for my money for over 14 working days, they are now asking me to deal with the company handling returns.

2 stars because the folk on the shopfloor are excellent, but as soon as you deal with Customer Service and on-line returns a total nightmare.

The guy on the phone was reading off a script for their returns policy and when I complained and asked to speak to a manager they said the manager would tell me the same so they didn't even bother transferring me.

I made a couple of purchases from Blacks and subsequently a couple of returns.

Ordered a pair of walking boots which arrived within a couple of days. Found they were too small so returned them using their recommended courier and supplied returns label. Was told a refund would be made within 28 days. Guess what? No refund and no way to contact them. Absolute waste of time. A shambles of a company that used to have a good reputation.

After 2 months and countless emails I'm still chasing a refund for the tracked returns that had arrived with them.

The customer service for returns is difficult and they are told the customer has to return the product, their expense.

In fact we have a team dedicated to casting their expert eyes over your returns to check out materials and manufacturing for faults.
