“Earlier this week, I travelled from East London with my elderly parents for two hours in traffic to go to Golfbidder. Before I made my way, I checked their opening times and google showed me they close at 5pm. Halfway there, I saw that the closing times was updated to 4pm. I called them to check and when I did, they confirmed they are open till 5pm.
A few minutes later, I got a call back from them telling me they have trainings and are closing the shop at 4pm instead. I requested if they could keep it open for half hour more because we are travelling a long way to get there. They said YES SURE, come along.
We reach the store exactly at 4:05pm and the shutters are down. We knock, no response. We call the line again and it goes to the switchboard who tell us, they are still open, go around to the other entrance. We go in a circle, same door, no response. We call the number again and no response.
If I could, I would give them negative stars. If they could not keep the shop open, they could have told us NO and saved us the travel (atleast 3 hours out of 4 that we were on the road!!!).
Extremely poor management.”
