“LWG took my Seamaster in for a clean and polish, Guy - who I think is the owner - is very professional and knows his stuff. The watch is sent to an external polisher for ultrasonic clean and polish, and then an external watchmaker reassembles it, and the whole process takes around two weeks. The watch came back looking good as new in terms of cleanliness and polish. But in the process, somehow two pins in the bracelet had been broken, I guess by the watchmaker who reassembled it. This should have been noticed by both the watchmaker and LWG, but the watch was given back to me. However, as soon as I raised this with Guy he took the watch back and the matter was resolved within a few days, with Guy personally bringing the watch back to my house. Guy owned the mistake and apologised. So whilst I cannot give 5/5 - as that implies perfect service - I can recommend LWG as an honest and trustworthy specialist who stand by their work and who look after their customers when things don't go entirely to plan. Anyone can give good service when things go well, but when things go wrong is when you really find out what a business is made of. In this case, LWG is made of reputable stuff and I recommend them.”
