I tried to chat with a service rep who explained that they were handling multiple call and would get back to me ASAP, however when I didn't immediately answer them as I was busy with my schedule, they ended the call and closed the ticket.

I was sending xmas presents to my daughter who is travelling in Australia. i used parcel monkey and put that one of the gifts was perfume. The parcel was returned to me by parcelforce as perfume is not allowed to be sent. They attached a letter saying that i can claim the postage back minus £20 handling fee, i paid £64. Parcel monkey are refusing to refund the difference. Disgusting customer service.

Then their Customer services team, will refuse to assist in any way to help find a solution - they will simply tell you to take it up with the courier, when you paid them directly for a service.
