I'm having problems with them as well after bidding for an iPhone. I paid £59 for bids and unwittingly paid another £59 so they have £118 of my money. It has been a battle trying to get it back. So after three weeks of emailing to and fro this person called Laura from customer services has asked me to close the Paypal dispute I opened against them. So if I do that I can receive a refund of £50 allegedly. I asked her if she thought I came up the clyde on a f*****g banana boat and that I would close the dispute once I receive my refund. I've written another twice demanding my money back and she is not answering. What do I do? I've written to Resolver, but no answer from them. I'm going to try my bank and get them to deal with it. Really angry with these scamming MF's.

When I signed up for the vip auction I was a payment of £59 well your company took two payments of£59 out of my pay pal account without asking me I have also tried to go back into the auction but they won’t accept my email or password I have also tried to make a phone call but have had no luck in speaking to someone regarding this matter will you at least email me letting me know why you took two payment out of my paypal account without my say so please do the right thing by me Margaret Nimmo

I have been charged £59/-twice (£180/-)within minutes,paid by PayPal,today.I did not understand about this auction business.Iam 80 yrs old.I immediately tried to phone VIPAuction but their phone line at the other end was coming as dead line every time.I tried several times.I am trying to get help from PayPal,I have sent several emails,but so far no positive reply.I hope PayPal will definitely help for this situation.Otherwise PayPal will loose respect & customers.

Submit a fraud case against company stop all money going out to this company tell if bank this money was taken unauthorized I had a lucky escape after days of typing emails and talking on the phone to payPal I managed to GT my money back

SCAM. I did NOT sign up for the "VIP" auction, then suddenly £59 was debited from my Paypal account. I have internet history to show the jump from browsing to payment made - NOTHING in between. I contacted Paypal, who have refused to do anything. Sophore Media have refunded £39 - deducting £20 for "admin" as per their "terms and conditions". As I did NOT sign up for anything, the terms and conditions are irrelevant. THIS IS A SCAM. Do not even look at this site. Will attempt to contact Paypal to sort this out as I thought I was "safe" using Paypal. Never again.

I had same issue.i GT a email from PayPal telling me about suspicious activity! I told them it was not me who had authorized this payment of 59.00p next day they told me I was not getting a refund as there seems to be no fraud case I hit the phone after a day of arguing with PayPal they looked into my case again have only just GT a email now telling me there going to refund how are others like your self going to recover ur money which is stolen?this site needs taken down I do hope u GT ur money back

Reopen it dispute with PayPal you did not authorize this payment! I had the same issue after reopening my case PayPal did or did say that they are going to give me my money back this VIP Auction site is a scam

I want to get in touch with VIP auctions as I was debited with £.118 (2 x £59) by mistake. That was not my intention. I am 83 yrs old and didn't understand the system. I would like to cancel my account and get a refund. Does anyone know how to,go,about it. Should I write to them?
