“No protection as a seller. Always go above and beyond for buyers of my items. A "Top Seller" on adverts comes to one of my ads and claims Im a scammer, next thing I know my account is banned. Have been on adverts for years, with only positive feedback and this is how I am treated. Complete joke of a website.”

“I have used Adverts a lot, and have found it to be very good for both buying and selling.
Naturally I pay with PayPal protection unless the seller has loads of positive feedback.
But it still is much safer than Done deal as you can give feedback, see everyones ratings, and everything is open and visible.

“AVOID AT ALL COST. This is quite frankly one of the worst buy and sell sites out there in Ireland. There is absolutely no buyer protection, you may as well just look for what you want on a notice board in a shop or in the local newspaper. Scams and fraudulent behaviour is rife on Adverts - you can report it all you want, nothing gets done. A seller will be banned, but he’s still got your money, name and address. Massive GDPR issues. Adverts do not offer compensation, proper assistance, or advice. They advise you deal with your local Garda and wash their hands of you. I’m surprised they don’t have a Trust and Safety team filtering out these sellers. Don’t use this site, don’t make the same mistake I did!”

I had an account and complained about something..in response they closed my account my wife's account and my daughters account ...what a bunch of narrow-minded asses with no one to answer to.they do as they want to whoever they want with impunity ..please avoid them at all costs ...free ads are not free when they harass and retaliate against everyone to get at the original complainer bad bad bad ...my solicitor is starting a case against them and I will be happy to join any class action ..it is now my mission in life to let everyone I can and I have 10,000 +followers exactly what they done to me ..bunch of bullies I am asking my followers to fwd my experiences to all their followers this could easily reach 500,000 within a month with everyone's support”
