“The socials in Costa Rica were well-organized, very casual, and everybody was friendly and nice. We all had a fun time. A lot of these girls have a tourist visa to the United States which makes it very easy for them to jump on a plane and come up to visit us without going through the hassle of a fiancee visa which can take a year or better and so that is one thing if you find somebody you like and they have a tourist visa, you can meet up with them and they can come visit your home in America.”
“I went to Davao, went to a social, it was organized by AFA. I had a wonderful time. I met a lot of wonderful people, wonderful women. I just didn’t make that love connection. And I felt like I got to try one more time. I want to take a chance, and give it a try and see what happens. So I wrote to several ladies and that’s one of the things I can tell the men right now, straight up. You can write all the letters you want and it really makes no difference. You have to get up your butt, get on a plane, get over here. That’s the only way you can find out. Be there and experience and see what it’s all about.”
“Your age is not important there. It's the way Philippine ladies are. They are very sweet, very kind and you'll have a good time. I would tell the guys not to write letters, just go to these tours and be there and you can see that it's worth it. And when you're there you'll have all the information that you need to talk to these ladies and find out who they are and you can meet them face to face.”
