I make my own skin care stuff, ever since a certain expensive hypoallergenic cream blew up my eczema & left me looking like a mutant turtle on the eve of my first national conference speech. “I bought shea butter because of my very dry and sensitive skin. It is a great reliable product even for a person with atopic dermatitis. It perfectly protects my face and hands from the cold. Prevents the skin from cracking. I love Akoma products. I sincerely recommend”

“I have been using Fairtrade Shea Butter from Ghana for years now from head to toe. It suits all of the family and gives great relief to my sons excema. Also works well when whipped with organic coconut oil. Thank you Akoma”

“Dear Akoma Skincare, Really love your products, they worth the 5 stars :) ! Unfortunately the care of the package by the courier was poor, the box was dented, the plastic holders, both of the 250gr Aloe Vera Gel’s were damaged, leaked as it shown on the photo attached.”

“I have been looking for Natural Shea based soaps since i purchased some in Ghana. Akoma has a very good range at a good price, I ordered several different Shea butter soaps to try. I have sensitive skin therefore I only use naturally sourced / derived ingredients. Firstly I love the branding and packaging (looks lovely displayed in my bathroom). The soaps, full of natural ingredients and essential oils and are beautifully fragrant but not overpowering. I've only tried Cinnamon and Oatmeal, orange oil so far. It is nourishing, doesn't leave my skin dry and leaves a light citrus scent. I found if you use a natural sisal soap bag it helps the soap to lather more and adds extra exfoliation. Can't wait to try the other scents i purchased and will be ordering more including some for friends. Would make a lovely gift basket. Fast delivery, I highly recommend Akoma”

“I’ve bought items from here for several years. The quality is excellent and I find that the information about the products is reliable. They’re packaged well and sent promptly. I’ve just bought red clay and rhassoul clay and I’m really thrilled that they’re just as good and useful as I hoped they would be. I think there are basic ingredients here that perform as well or better than manufactured products”

“Randomly cams across this website 6 years ago when I was a teen trying to re-learn Twi spellings (“akoma” means “heart” in Twi) and have been ordering from here since. Such lovely service, products are always A1 quality and delivered quickly and safely. Their aloe Vera juice/concentrate, clays, and oils are staples in my daily routine, would 110% recommend!”
