“Parking fine at Aldi- CALL Aldi A leased car made my parking fine £70- £40+£35. However, I called Aldi after receiving the fine and they very quickly cancelled the ticket. Do call Aldi to cancel the ticket and not the company that issued the ticket. Aldi customer service was excellent at listening to my irritation and cancelling of the fine. Would be nice if Aldi gave their customers a nudge at the till to validate their ticket.”

“Had a great experience at Aldi Wokingham. Nice store and good food for a good price. Recommended to friends and family as a great all rounder for shopping. Yesterday received a ticket for parking in the Aldi Wokingham carpark. Understandably implications are put in place however there are no clear and obvious indications which is quite disappointing. I was super excited about visiting the store and planned to shop there regularly. Friends and family won’t be back unfortunately.”

“I shopped in Aldi on 04/10/21 parked for 30 minutes shop for few items and was issued a fine of £70 is this legal ? If this is not cancelled I will never use them again I have a valid receipt of shopping in Aldi. 🤔 So ANGRY will not be shopping there again, you can park for free Lidl down the road. No mention by cashier about registering at the end of shop 😡gentle reminder would have helped”

“On our first visit to Aldi Wokingham we were forced by a parked van to enter the wrong way to get parked. We then went into the store which was fine. However despite the website stating that cashiers will remind customers that they need to register their cars in the car park, we were given no warning. The upshot of this was we received a £70.00 fine for not registering. Given that Tesco, Lidl, Waitrose, Morrisons, and Sainsburys all allow a set time for its customers to park to shop, Aldi for whatever reason have this alternative parking scheme. In 40 years of living and shopping in Wokingha we have never incurred a fine. Not surprisingly we will not be going back to shop there.”
