Without the chance to check the gear you don’t have any way of testing the products without paying circa £100 that you won’t get back if you don’t like them. You can get a full DD super light jungle hammock set up for less and you can be comfortable knowing if it’s defective you can return it. I contacted Oliver at Alton to discuss if anything could have been done to help reduce the fees. He just hid behind the terms and conditions and seemed like he would be a nightmare to deal with if you had any issues. I wanted to support a smaller company but they didn’t seem to care about that.”
