“I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Amazon France’s customer service. What started as a simple attempt to regain access to my account has turned into a frustrating and stressful ordeal.
After reaching out for help, my account was suddenly placed on hold, and I was asked to verify my identity. I promptly complied by submitting sensitive documents, including my driver’s license and credit card information—trusting that this would quickly resolve the issue. Instead, I’ve been left waiting with no clear communication, no resolution, and no access to my account.
It is deeply concerning that even after providing such personal information, there has been no progress. The lack of transparency, slow response times, and poor customer support are unacceptable for a company of this scale.
Customers should not have to go through this level of inconvenience and uncertainty just to access their own accounts. I expected far better from Amazon France.
I hope this issue is addressed urgently, and that steps are taken to improve the customer service experience so others do not have to go through the same frustration.”
“The customer service at amazon.fr doesn't even deserve a 0 rating. When they charged my card for the order additional fees were charged which I was not informed of in advance. After reporting this to customer service multiple times I have received no response or refund of the difference. So they deliberately extort customers for extra fees, hoping the customer won't notice, and then ignore the complaints. When making a purchase on amazon.fr you should take into account that your card may be charged for a higher amount than your order and you will never receive a refund of the overpayment or a response from support. The customer service staff of this website are ordinary scammers. This was my first and last purchase on amazon.fr.”
