“Order #34701 – 2.5 TOG Cotton Sleeping Bag | Pretty Peony
I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and the company’s handling of the issue. I purchased this sleep sack believing it was fully cotton, as it was titled a “Cotton Sleeping Bag” and the listing did not clearly state it contains polyester filling at the time of purchase. I even have a screenshot showing this.
After receiving the product, I discovered the filling was polyester. When I raised this via Instagram, the company initially told me it was listed in the description, despite my evidence, and then directed me to email them. I first contacted them on 28th March, and despite repeated follow-ups, I have received no response or resolution.
The only solution offered…returning the item internationally at my expense for store credit, is completely unreasonable. Return shipping from New Zealand is very expensive, and store credit would still leave me out of pocket needing to purchase a replacement. Meanwhile, my child has been left without a suitable winter sleep sack.
This experience has been misleading, frustrating, and demonstrates a complete lack of accountability. The product was falsely advertised, and the company has failed to provide a fair resolution despite repeated attempts to contact them. I cannot recommend this product or company to other parents.”
