Aperture(Grant Thornton) totally exceeded my expectations in regard to the advice and support that they gave to me over a very worrying period of about eighteen months. From the initial telephone contact, guiding me through the IVA route to manage my debt and finally supporting me in making a one off payment to close my IVA, Aperture acted in an understanding and professional manner. Over the course of my IVA I was contacted by many members of Aperture's staff. All were friendly and non-judgemental and this helped my wife and I enormously.

I find aperture very helpful and understanding of my debt situation,they have never judged me and I feel they are in charge of my future of being debt free which in turn makes me feel stress free.

Year 3 of my IVA. Things have gone really smoothly. The amount that I need to pay each month is realistic and manageable. Support is at the end of the phone or by email if I have any queries or worries - always very helpful.

It was such a hard period I went through. It was like my whole life falling apart. Having grasped the nettle and decided I could not 'do' his thing alone my life changed after being advised to discuss my options with Grant Thornton. They were entirely non-judgmental, professional but sympathetic, too. It was a struggle, but slowly I came through and now I am within an ace of fulfilling an IVA plan negotiated by GT.

They took all the pressure off us and gave us a lifeline when we couldn't see a way out of the situation we were in

Aperture help us at a time in our life when the debts accrued while running our business were becoming an obstacle for us to enjoy or maintain our retirement .most of our pension lump sums went back to the bank to help clear this debt .we had until then had a very good credit rating and all ways paid our bills on time but it was becoming impossible to do so ,we had to ask for help at this point and were told about step change .the help they and grant Thornton gave us as helped us have a worry free life again and still pay off some of our debt but leave us with a living we can manage on.the service I have received when I have contacted aperture with a query has all ways been dealt with with reassuring understanding.We will be forever gratefull

I have found once Aperture helped me to get my debts under control and sort out an agreed amount to pay back my debtors they have always been on the end of the line if any other problems came along, I find their peoples willingness to help and very friendly attitude recommendable, this agreement has taken a lot of pressure off my wife and I. Many thanks Peter.

Aperture have been amazing in supporting me through some very dark times. 3 years into my IVA and things are much clearer. The only concern is with the system rather than aperture in as much as beginning the road towards the IVA., having to go through intermediaries who charge significant fees to put you intouch is a difficult route to an excellent path.

I Would just like to say a big thanks I was overwhelmed, getting abusive telephone calls and threatening letters, with just one phone call to Aperture (formally Grant Thornton) it all stopped, all the worrying went away everyone I've dealt with has been pleasant and very helpful Many thanks

Wish I'd done this years ago, I'm 2 years into my IVA and since then iv have no more phone calls or letters demanding money, also feel like a huge weight as been lifted off me, no more stress, would strongly recommend them to others out there struggling with the stress of debt, best thing iv ever done

I was referred by The Citizens Advice Bureau to Aperture. Speaking to friends in similar situations I'm so glad I went with Aperture, it's a weight off my mind to know my debts are managed and I'm in a better place financially. The staff are always courteous & friendly, I would definitely recommend Aperture to my friends & family.

From the outset Aperture were very helpful. The most important thing to me, at the beginning, was that they did not judge me. They were very sympathetic and understanding. I felt very comfortable with them from the word go. The paperwork was kept to a minimum and the whole process from start to finish was very easy. My IVA has been in place for 21 months now and I still find them to be very helpful. Any correspondence is answered within an acceptable time scale and telephone calls are professional but also very friendly. I may not speak to the same person twice but whoever I speak to is knowledgable about my account and my personal circumstances without any prompts or reminders - they even enquire about my husbands health! Overall I am very impressed with Aperture and would recommend them to anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves in financial difficulties.

I owe my sincere gratitude to Aperture (formerly Grant Thornton) and especially to Dawn Pryce who guided me through the process in the early days and Gareth O'Neill for looking after my case ever since. Aperture are without a doubt a highly professional and skilled company, who not only provide valuable support to people who are struggling with debt, having lost their way in life (as was in my case) but they also have the personal touch which makes them approachable and as a consequence very unique. I have been looked after by Aperture for the past 3 years and in that time have been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. Thank you Aperture, you are one in a million and I hope you go on to provide support and kindness to many other people in my situation. Georgina Cox
