After all this I spoke to 2 very rude people on the phone saying they could only offer a 20% refund on the damaged item or they take it back and I have to take yet another day off work to wait for another unit.

Bought a heat pump dryer. It stopped working after a few weeks. That's a major fault and under consumer law I'm entitled to a full refund within the first 30 days. Now they're refusing a refund and want to assess, try fix, etc. Not acceptable. Don't waste your time, pay more go for a trusted seller.

I was offered a refund initially by Lachlan R but I have changed electrics to suit this oven and will be out of pocket more $ to get one hardwired.

Again this would appear contrary to Australian consumer law and although we asked for a refund, we got nowhere, instead being deflected to the wholesaler & who aslo has done litttle.

I then requested her to send me an email explaining the situation, assuring me that I would receive a refund and that the payment would be rectified with installment payments.

The Saturday came and no delivery, so I called up for a refund because I couldn't wait 3 weeks for a vacuum and was told my refund would be processed.
