“My husband and I came to this firm after having used two firms of solicitors. We were confused and disappointed with the advice we had received to date. All our anxiety turned out to be justified when my husband's entrepreneur visa was refused for what clearly was due to poor advice or lack of experience on the part of our previous lawyers. After a detailed consultation, Article 1 agreed to take on our case in an appeal. Alejandro was allocated very senior lawyers to his case at no extra cost due to the complexity of our case. They quickly got on top of all of the hundreds of pages of documents in our case and lodged an appeal. They raised legal arguments and points that had been missed by our previous lawyers. Frustratingly, we had to wait over 7 months for the appeal to come in front of a judge, but we became more and more confident that it was worth the wait as we saw the preparation being carried out by Article 1 and the general quality of their work. When we got to the appeal hearing we were not taken by surprise by any questions asked by the Home Office as we had already been advised by our team of the likely questions that would be asked. The judge openly complemented us on the quality of the appeal bundles and the general perpetration of the case and the Home Office official was clearly having problems responding to our legal arguments in his closing speech. To our delight the Judge allowed the appeal at the end of the hearing. They are not the cheapest law firm out there (their fees were more than triple our earlier lawyers), but we honestly have no regrets because at least we got proper advice and service for once. We are eternally grateful to the team and cannot recommend them enough and our family is now finally united after an absurdly unfair refusal that kept me and my daughter apart from my husband for over a year.”
