“Mega expensive compared to other quotes for me”

“I did not choose ADSA yet it intruded and continued to send me junk promotion emails even after I tried to unsubscribe including this survey. I find this a pushy annoying and wholly unacceptable manner of business.”

“Shocking. The broker charged me but has no record of the application so I've been driving without cover. No response from ASDA when I asked them to investigate. Now having to look at complaining to the ombudsman.”

“The company I was steered towards, and bought insurance from, then proceeded—days after the fact—to say there were more questions to be answered. They then whacked another £108. BikeSure, through Asda. Nope, not again.”

“None of the companies on your comparison site could quote insurance for my electric bicycle. In every case they either didn't recognise the make (even though they have been available for sale in UK for over a year) or excluded any bike subject to the Road Traffic Act. Your comparison site was a total waste of time for my requirement.”

“I went to purchase the Asda insurance quote ,but struggled big time with the phone operative who said the quote reference generated they could not find ? In the end I said leave it I will insure with some one else and I have .Would I try Asda again No !!!!!!!!!!”

“Firstly, it's not Asda insurance, you're merely a front end for the real insurers and secondly, with so many front ends or real insurers to check with online to try and get the best deal do you really expect me to remember yours specifically 3 or 4 weeks later?”

“This was the first time we had taken out motor bike insurance it formed part of our sons 16th birthday gift along with the moped. The whole process has been difficult and confusing. The first call was fine I was asked to send two documents only, I then received an e mail suggesting the insurance would be cancelled because we had not sent in what had been asked for which we had it turned out more documents was needed which is fine .However the insurance people would not speak to me as my son had turned 16 it became almost impossible to sort it out, Eventually my son was able to give permission for me to speak to them so i could help him its a learning curve for a 16 year old the insurance company should take this into account being it had been ok for me to pay foe it. The final straw came when they increases the excess from £450 to £999 and couldnt really tell me why except it might have been a typo error and that was to be ok It took me to go to another department to sort this out. Would never use Asda insurance again My pet insurance was due to be renewed on the 28th of October I wont insure with you again really dissappointed.”

“I saw an ad for "Asda Insurance" and contacted them for a quote. This was entirely misleading. It is not insurance from Asda, it's Asda cashing in on the compare the market type model - they "find" insurance for you. Frankly I'm sick and tired of this type of misleading marketing, and always get a better deal from going direct to the insurer (no website commission fees). Oh, one last thing, Asda don't even arrange cover, they give you a reference and tell you to contact the insurer they've found for you yourself!!!!! What's the bl@@dy point? Makes them a commission, but inflates the price and wastes customers time! Misleading time wasting dishonest rubbish! Don't use!!!!!”

“From my experience I wouldn't recommend it I was offered a good deal on line but when I contacted the web site to buy the insurance I was asked also rats of personal questionsvI have NEVER been asked before which only proved to increase the premium by nearly £100.00 I wound up feeling I had been conned To add insult to injury the sales rep on the other end of the phone was rude and uninterested really unprofessional Would I recomend. NO...........”
