“I purchased an ASUS ROG Strix G15 (Model: G513R) 1.5 years ago, expecting a high-quality gaming laptop. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory due to a recurring and serious issue.
After 1.2 years of use, my laptop started encountering a persistent boot loop, displaying the message "Your PC didn’t start correctly." Despite trying various troubleshooting steps, including resetting and reinstalling Windows, the problem persisted. This is likely a defect of the laptop itself and not due to user error.
My warranty was only 1 year but I thought this was something ASUS support can help since it was an error on their end but they weren’t helpful at all.
Through research, I discovered that this is a common problem among users of this model. Numerous complaints on forums indicate that the ASUS ROG Strix G15 G513R has an inherent defect causing these boot issues.
Given the significant investment (£1600) and the expectation of reliable performance, I am deeply disappointed with both the product and the after-sales support. I advise potential buyers to thoroughly research and consider these widespread issues before purchasing this model.”
“I have an GX550LWS (Zephyrus Duo) that i purchased in July 2021 and it has a no post issue that i experienced on 7th Oct 2021 and i registered a service request regarding that on 8th oct 2021. It's been more than a week and i haven't heard from Asus Service yet.I think that notebook that cost more than $2500 USD should be serviced ASAP. I had an Dell Alienware before and i think that compared to Dell, Asus provides very pathetic after sales service.i made a mistake by buying an Asus product.
Update 18th Nov 2021
Laptop still haven't been serviced yet.
I would to tell people that don't buy Asus Notebooks instead go for dell or hp.
