“I did enjoy the course and memtorship but I wanted to learn property law, not commerical which annoyed me a little, overall it is a good programme.”

“I enjoyed the course learning about paralegal training and receiving the CPD certification which helps for professional development. The work placement with a solicitor is guaranteed which is really good because I saw some controversial comments on line that it might be too good to be true. But I can confirm it is definitely guaranteed for 12 weeks. My only issue is the job was not guaranteed, I felt like I performed well but I still was not offered employment. Pros the training is good and the experience but the cons is no guaranteed job at the end.”

“The program was useful in terms of gaining initial legal experience. The training covered the basics, and the placement allowed me to see how solicitors handle real cases. It’s a good starting point, especially for those without prior UK experience. Hopefully I get SQE guidence I need.”

“I enrolled on the BA Global Legal Programme to gain some practical exposure to the legal field, and my experience was average overall. The CPD training covered the fundamentals of paralegal work and was simple to follow. It’s designed to be flexible, which is helpful if you’re balancing studies with other commitments. The work experience element was the most valuable part. It gave me an idea of how tasks are handled in a real legal setting and what kind of standards are expected. This practical exposure helped me feel more prepared when applying for entry-level roles. That said, the programme is not a guaranteed route into a job. You still need to put in the effort to apply for roles, attend interviews, and build your own network. The support is there, but outcomes really depend on your own performance and persistence. Overall, it’s a reasonable option if you’re looking for a structured introduction to legal work and some experience to add to your CV, but it’s important to approach it with realistic expectations.”
