It's a smart scheme protecting scammers by Barclays! According to their logic, I can go to a Rolex store, purchase watches for £10,000, return to the bank, say they scammed me for £10,000, and get a refund—having £10,000 in cash and watches worth £10,000.

Over the last 12 months my partner has had countless issues with them losing money, freezing accounts, letting someone change his address over the phone by not taking them through security, refusing to refund a £30 fraudulent transaction which was made by someone on iTunes.
