“Just spent three nights at the Baron.Arrived had a nice lunch were greeted by our lovely hosts Phil & Debra were shown to our Super room Fixtures & fittings would put many a fine hotel to shame.From then on it was simple.Good food and drink served by charming smiling staff and all at realistic prices.This place was a gem of a find.We never go back to any of our stays but we have friends who would love the Baron i feel i am going to break the habit of a lifetime and return.Thanks to all at The baron for a lovely Stay.As Arnie said I,ll be back.”
“This is a wonderful country inn. We stayed for 2 nights and were absolutely delighted. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The meals were also excellent and the staff were all friendly and very welcoming. Would definately highly recommend.”

“Only stayed for one night but received a friendly welcome. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was good too with everything you could wish for. The bedroom is tastefully decorated and very clean. The only thing I missed was a small fridge but as we only stayed one night this was not really a problem. Having stayed in a city hotel the previous night and a country house hotel the following night I can honestly say The Baron was very much the superior stay of all the hotels. If you get the chance please stay there.”

If we had been staying longer, the menu might be a little restrictive in choice, but it is a case of quality over quantity. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful- a most enjoyable stay.”
