“I purchased the higher capacity water powered pump because I have a huge amount of water coming into the basement during heavy rains. It's not a problem as long as the power is on, but if it goes out, which it has done, it's a huge problem. I found that the higher capacity pump was able to keep up with the flow. More importantly though, when I had a problem with the pump after owning it for 10 years, I was very impressed with how the company responded to my problem, diagnosed what part was needed, and sent it right out.
