“My Wife and I have visited this cafe a few times and always found the food, service and staff to be excellent. I would advise visitors to use the upstairs dining area as the one downstairs, particularly at the back of the restaurant is quite noisy. I think it is possibly due to the low ceiling. On the last occasion all the tables were occupied and the noise from the diners was awful. Two lads were speaking and laughing so loud I thought to tell them to speak up as they couldn't hear it in the Outer Hebrides”
“Six of us had a lovely family breakfast, lost a star due to waitress Sharron, being quite rude about how many of us were there, we checked with the other waitress first who was more than happy for six of us to sit down, the place was quiet, so we wernt taking up any space upstairs. When Sharron brought our drinks she clearly made us feel uncomfortable, to the point my son said would you like us to move, or leave. The other waitress was lovely and apologised for her rudeness.
Maybe Sharron needs a little training on her service.”
