“Put an old high miles Mercedes in for a pre mot asked them to look the car over before doing it and telling me what it needed cause the car still had mot and might not be worth fixing received a call saying they had done the mot and fixed the sat nav was annoyed enough about that then got a bill for £1200 for that and a service after being told that would be the car sorted for the next year. Paid the bill picked up the car and the sat nav still didn’t work and there was an extensive list of advisories that had never previously been mentioned such as suspension work etc. When questioned on the sat nav the head mechanic became aggressive and said they didn’t fix sat bags as it was a specialist job despite their letterheads and signage referring to them as specialists would avoid them like the plague”
