“Bought book shelf wall units from Beaver and Tapley via local shop. Within a year the joints in the units came apart and our books fell on the floor. Initially we were accused of overloading the bookshelves but it was obvious they had not been glued properly. Tapley eventually conceded and offered to replace them in 4-6 weeks. Around 4 months later we still had no replacement and trying to get anyone in the company to respond proved impossible. Eventually replacements were produced but Tapley refused to deliver them even to the local shop who then agreed to travel 200 miles to pick them up - atrocious. The new units failed within week. Beaver and Tapley used to be renowned for quality now have gone downhill and customer service is beyond poor. Be very wary of buying from this company now.”
