“They will automatically enroll you in a monthly subscription without a full disclosure when you buy one time report for $5. 2 weeks later your card gets charged for $32.53 monthly membership. Even though I canceled the same day they didn't return the money. Unethical and crooked with no transparency.”
“I searched on a scammer's phone number. BeenVerified said it found the information and required a small payment and a subscription to access the report. When I finally got to view the report, it said it had been unable to find any information, AT ALL, about the number. To be fair, they refunded me everything when I called and cancelled my account but they should have told me upfront that the search had been unsuccessful. What BV did borders on fraud.”
“So, you sign up for one review, one-time use, $22.86, and they convert your subscription to monthly. Then, to cancel, they ask for your cc confirmation number, and want to charge you $37 to unsubscribe. Crooks.”
“They had a picture of a man as me - a woman always! They listed addresses I never lived at and listed a male's name as an alias. Yet, my name, birthdate, telephone number and a former address were all correct. My present address which was changed at the post office was incorrect. The post office has it, the DPS has it, why doesn't "Been Verified" have it? They claim to use government records.”
