“Pacifica keep sending out engineers to fix a problem that as yet is unresolved after two attempts, tomorrow will be the third.
I purchased a Belling Farmhouse 60cm dual fuel cooker from Hughes in Norwich on 13 January. The cooker was installed by a gas safe engineer and an electrician in mid February. The electrician noticed the glass door in the main oven was chipped. I rang Pacifica and they sent a new inner glass. I could not replace this myself since the inner glass and the door would need to be removed to gain access.
Early in March the top oven overheated, I put a thermometer in the oven and it went off the scale. The oven was smoking badly. Food had been burned. I rang Pacifica again and they organised for an engineer to fix it. The engineer arrived on 19 March and said the controls to the top oven had been fitted incorrectly. He did not need to replace anything. He also fitted the glass on the main oven door.
Early in April the grill and the top oven began to work erratically. The light on the oven either came on and stayed on or didn't come on at all. Food was yet again wasted as it was either burnt or hardly cooked at all.A Pacific’s engineer came out again on 9 April and replaced parts in the top oven.
Now here we are again, food wasted after the top oven is not working appropriately. A Pacifica engineer has been called for tomorrow 30 April.
My frustration with Pacifica and Belling is off the scale like the temperature of the top oven. The customer services tried to help but they said there was nothing they could do to replace the cooker.
The cooker is unfit for purpose and I would not recommend it to anybody. Pacifica to date have been unable to fix the issue and it seems it can’t be replaced under warranty or guarantee according to Pacifica or Belling.
I will be writing reviews in every conceivable place until somebody from Pacifica or Belling listens to me and replaces this faulty cooker!”

“Only 1.5 years in major electrical failure. 3 months to get a repairer who turned up with a standards book to try and find compliance issues. Repairer tried to quote me to repair the supposed defect he found in the install and refused the do work on the repairs until rectified. The supposed defect was on the gas side nothing to do with the electrical fault (a very professional company installed my oven and they tried to get in contact with this repairer immediately to understand the issue, the repairer would not communicate with them). The repairer also suggested I should have used my own electrical company to do the repairs to my oven, I had to remind him that surely that would void my warranty. This repairer also shared that Beilling are terrible products and I should have stayed away from it. Wish I had known this earlier. A huge waste of money. The product in general is very poor quality and not worth the price tag. Runners falling off, doors warping, oven failure, indicator lights falling off. Do no buy this product, buy anything else.”
“Bought the new induction range cooker and very happy with the evenness of over heat and speed of hob. Looks good and works good. We had a small rust/paint mark on the one door and they happily replaced the door on site . Offered to replace who cooker. Great service”
