The delivery driver came early as rain was forecast so we could unload in the dry. He was extremely helpful and pleasant. My contacts with this company have been a pleasure with prompt replies and nothing seems too much trouble. They even arranged delivery to the Isle of Wight. “New kitchen required so had a design done and searched online. The main requirement was for a walk in larder and came across Better Kitchens. Compared to other suppliers, they were competitively priced with a great range of units/colours/finishes. One that I was really pleased with was the option to choose colour of carcass. I chose all the required items with soft close hinges and chose the flat pack delivery (you can choose pre-built for no extra cost). One element of the units I was very impressed with was the back panel - 18mm colour matched rather than the stiff 2mm board that other suppliers come with.
On receiving the delivery, there were some items that had quality issues, these were raised with BK and replaced. Some ancillary items (shelf fronts and rails) had been missed from the initial delivery but raised with BK and replaced quickly. BK use a ticket system to communicate with and I found a minor delay to this but it did allow me to raise a ticket and BK would answer the same day, usually a couple of hours later.
The units, when built are really strong and come with all required fixings... im a very happy camper.
Given most kitchen suppliers receive a load of bad press, Better Kitchens supply a great product at a great price and care about customer service..”

As a fairly competent diyer with msc trades experience and a couple of home and boat renovations achieved, I am so pleased to have finally found Better Kitchens. Having explored the commercial options (Howdens, Nisbets etc), the 'premium' punters choices (Wren - that's what they say anyway - hoho, at your own risk...) and the build it yourself variants (B&Q / Ikea etc), I can confirm personally that my experience with Better Kitchens was absolutely on point - surpassing many of these other options on quality and cost - and on the occasion a cheaper option was available it was simply not comparable when looking at material, finish and component quality.
From the initial chat which was informative, intelligent and never pushy, to the estimate which was clear and concise and completely itemised, to delivery (ours was flat packed and palletised to York, for self install on a boat), everything was well considered and perfectly communicated. All shipped items were very well packed / protected and arrived with no sign of transit.
I understand the BK team prefer to ship assembled or install but in this instance the fit to a tapered hull and access through small hatches was so unique we opted to take responsibility for this ourselves. The BK team wasted no time in supplying excellent assembly instructions and verbal / video guidance when required.
When I realised we needed a couple of small additional pieces to match / fill in around some steel work, the team very quickly added our request to their production line and delivered the additional items within a few days. The colour of the new parts matched perfectly.
Having now lived with the install for over 2 years (apologies for the late review) it is good as new. We are due to renovate a new home soon and will be back in touch for our next kitchen! We recommend you to everyone.

“Ordered my kitchen in August 2020 and received as expected, a couple of units arrived a bit later but communication has been very good.
Today I contacted them for a soft close gas hinge that is not working anymore and they promptly send me a new one.
So customer care is good!
Kitchen quality is nice and I really have saved thousands thanks to them. Cabinets are very sturdy and well done and they look great.

We did not opt for worktops from Better Kitchens, so I cannot comment on them.
After sales could be improved, but still well worth choosing this company.
Overall we are very satisfied and would highly recommend with company to anyone.
Lastly, make sure you order everything that you need! I changed my layout after the order had been received and although I just needed 1 extra 300mm wall unit, the delivery cost is still £50. My fault, but something worth knowing.”

“Took a risk ordering off an online company during the height of the lockdown.Comparing the style and variety to the well known showrooms.Very pleased supplied what i wanted at a good price when they promised.The quality was good even my friends helping to fit were impressed & considering them for there next purchase.Yes there was a blemished door when unpackaging,So i took a photo and contacted them - A replacement was sent promptly. The only improvement i could suggest is there website is a bit slow and there interactive tracking of your order & questions nice feature but wasnt updated or answered,But a phone call was always answered politely.(It was during the height of 2020 lockdown though so staffing may have been an issue) Overall would i reccomend - Yes definately ,Very good experience Thankyou Better Kitchens”
