“We have a signed contract with Biffa for regular commercial waste collection. Unfortunately, our experience has been nothing short of unacceptable.
For the past 6 weeks, our waste has not been collected, yet we continue to receive invoices and are being charged in full for a service that is simply not being delivered.
We have contacted customer service multiple times. Each time, we are assured that the issue will be “resolved” or “escalated internally.” However, nothing changes. The bins remain full, and no collections take place.
This level of service is completely unprofessional. Charging a business while failing to provide the contracted service is unacceptable. We operate a company ourselves and understand operational challenges — but six weeks without resolution is not a temporary issue, it is a systemic failure.
There is a clear lack of accountability, communication, and basic reliability.
We would strongly advise other businesses to think carefully before entering into a contract with Biffa. If you expect consistency and professionalism, this has not been our experience.”
“Dreadful customer service from Biffa. We are contracted to have bins emptied every Monday. Unfortunately when there's a bank holiday we don't get a colelction until the following week which means that we have rubbish piled high. The driver then refuses to collect the addition rubbish. We then have to phone Biffa customer services and then they get hold of the local depot to arrange a site clearance the following week.
Don't try to get out of the contract as it's water-tight. Unless you give notice on the send half moon when the wind is blowing in a north easterly direction you've had it.
I don't like to highlight indidual people but Patrick Mol was so arrogant and rude.”
“We are paying for waste collection across three businesses with Biffa Waste Norwich, yet collections have been repeatedly missed from July through September without any proper explanation. Our bins have been left overflowing for months, causing major inconvenience and embarrassment for our businesses. Despite paying a premium for reliable service, the customer support is unresponsive, and nothing has been done to resolve the issue. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional — we will be looking for an alternative provider.”
“They promised me to re install the Friday night collection (Patrick Mol) the one they decided to remove without any warning or heads up.
You can email, you can call...nothing, abosolutely useless web site assistant. Expensive and unprofessional.

Biffa have the contract for waste disposal in our small private housing development.
They continually miss collections, then arrange another day only to not turn up... again.
This happens month after month!
The latest reason for non collection is the driver is sick... am I to assume they only have one driver! And no contingency in place to deal with such a common occurrence!
We now have maggots in our waste building due to continuous non collection of our waste... the situation is untenable and we will be enquiring about when we can cancel our contract.
You have been warned!!”
“Having big issues with them as we speak. Their delivery system is rubbish, I ordered my bags 3 WEEKS AGO and still waiting for theM, now they refuse to pick up my rubbish because is not in their bags (that I don't have because they don't deliver) what a joke of company...AVOID AT ALL COST!”
