Boots response was that, despite it being obvious that the parcel isn't going to arrive, that I have to wait until five days after the expected delivery date, before I can contact Boots about the order not arriving! This means that, having placed the order on 26 June I have to wait until 7 July before I can contact them!
I do most of my shopping online, using various companies that send orders via Royal Mail and none of them have ever made me wait five days after the expected delivery date to chase up delays in parcels being despatched or parcels being lost.

Paid for next day delivery (23rd may), dhl have it, has not been delivered, tracking hasnt moved since 26th, dhl emailed me back to say to contact Boots, dhl no further response, Boots making me wait up to 14 days for a replacement or refund however under the consumers act 2015, I do not have to wait for your investigation as I do not have the item and you can refund or replacement straight away! For Boots to be selling baby products which can be vital depending on someone's situation is disgusting! I am not being given an update until a decision has been made however you can clearly see from tracking, which i have sent and the dhl email I have sent! I am not requesting a immediate refund and will order else where as I cannot wait any longer! I will be sharing this on social media and will no longer be recommending Boots.

Placed order on Monday 18th May
Order dispatch confirmation Tuesday 19th May. Deliver date est Thursday 21st.
Have been tracking every day since as delivery to a relative as a gift. Tracking just says sender has despatched parcel - waiting for parcel
Today 22nd May, no update from Royal Mail but Boots app has refunded me (payment pending) with no explanation re reason for refund

1/5 — Missing Items & No Resolution
My order 779944541 arrived missing items worth £153.66, and Boots have refused to refund me. They could not provide any photographic proof of delivery but still rejected my claim. I’ve been left out of pocket with no support from customer service. Very disappointed.
